Aerospace-Grade Vacuum Pressure Vessel Molding Technology

  • This is a key process in the manufacturing of our carbon fiber composite products. After prepreg lamination and vacuum bag sealing in a cleanroom environment, the workpiece is transferred to a pressure vessel for curing.
  • Combined with computer-aided automatic layout and cutting technology, large or complex geometries can be processed rapidly.
  • Precise control of the high temperature and pressure curves via PLC, and control of the temperature rise rate and holding time based on the slowest point of contact with the part, ensures structural homogenization.
  • The greatest advantage is that applying pressure of 1-10 bar dissolves air bubbles in the resin, controlling the porosity below 0.5% to maximize shear strength.
